We paint and decorate domestic & commercial premises following all necessary procedures.
Before a painting/decorating job, we always ensure that the client’s property and flooring are properly protected. We care more about the property and the client than the job itself. On average, we normally apply 2-3 coats on walls & ceilings to ensure a great finish. However, the number of coats depends on the quality and colour of paint. The brands we usually use are Dulux, Dulux Trade, Valspar, Crown and F&B paint.
Walls & Ceilings
Walls & ceilings can be more complicated especially when the surfaces have a lot of holes and are uneven. In these cases, we would recommend plastering or hanging lining paper.
Plastering could develop cracks over time depending on the quality of the plaster and vibrations that may affect the wall. Lining paper on the other hand would hardly ever develop cracks. However, a downside to this is that the paper could peel off of the edges depending on the quality of the wallpaper glue or how it was hung.
Old wallpaper has to be stripped down from surfaces and walls prepared for a new wallpaper to be hung. This is because it is not ideal to hang a new wallpaper on top of an old wallpaper as it will look untidy.
Kitchens & bathrooms tend to have a high level of moisture in the atmosphere so we use specialized paint. We want to ensure that the paint will last and still be in a good condition.
Other painting jobs include whitewashing and stain wood paints on a wooden surface.
